Hi and welcome to Camp Be Jolly! In early 2019, our family made a last minute decision to drive to Red River, NM for a long weekend. Since Marvin is a Realtor, we drove around looking at property and that's when we made the decision to make our Red River dreams come true. We made an offer on an acre of land that was covered in 4+ feet of snow. We closed on the property after the snow melted and we could see all the amazing trees and the perfect place to build our dream cabin.

With COVID shutting down the world, we decided to move forward a little quicker than planned and started building our cabin. We were excited to partner with Ronnie Pockrandt at Red River Construction to start with the garage, two-bedroom and two-bathroom cabin.

We wrapped up the main construction in September 2021, but we still have several fun little projects to finish up. We wanted this to be the most amazing place for  friends and family to visit and enjoy. You will notice some unique touches that we added to make it special - 100 year old doors, a grandkids nook and more!
